Coors announced in a letter Monday that production of the tasty malt-liquor beverage that is a refreshing alternative to beer and wine was discontinued as of October 10. Chief Marketing Officer Andy England says the decision was due to weakness in the "malternative" segment and declining consumer interest.
Exsqueeze me? I got half a sixer of Zima in my man fridge right now? Time to stock up, as England says that remaining Zima inventories will most likely be exhausted by December.

Too bad AC/DC didn't include Zima in their beer google anthem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfcnoIkBdjc - it would have made Zima the safe alternative to Bud Lime.
